We just wrapped up SharePoint Saturday Boston and I wanted to thank all of the organizers who made this possible. Two of our architects presented sessions at the event, Sadie Van Buren presented on her SharePoint Maturity Model. You can find a wealth of information at her personal blog.
We will start to cross post soon. I also presented on the topic of this blog post… real world claims scenarios. Here is the abstract:
“In this session we will go beyond the simple SharePoint claims provider to understand how organizations have successfully implemented federation and single sign-on solutions in SharePoint. We will start with a high level overview of the options available to administrators and developers and then dig into some detailed AD FS 2.0 and Windows Identity Foundation samples. We will also explore federation to external authentication providers as well as federation between enterprises.”
I have also attached the slide deck. Please check it out and let me know if you have any comments/questions.
