We seek an outstanding Services Sales Executive for Financial Services with 10 or more years of applicable experience. You will own a business within a rapidly growing consulting services company and lead sales development and execution across the largest financial services organizations in the Northeast. This services sales executive role will sell software architecture consulting services into capital markets, banking and insurance customers throughout New England and New York.

Responsibilities and activities include:

  • Sell to top tier financial services companies
  • Inspire and develop large consulting services engagements focused on Application Modernization, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Information Management, User Experience, and Cloud based applications.
  • Develop solutions that integrate existing customer resources, BlueMetal and offshore resources.
  • Execute strategies for account development and expanding customer base and reach
  • Meet and exceed budgeted quota
  • Partner with internal Service Line Directors for solution scoping and delivery
  • Build and execute a sales and marketing plan to generate new business
  • Foster, grow and expand relationships across lines of business and IT.
  • Establish and build strong executive contacts and regularly conduct business value discussions with CXOs and VP BDMs.

Desired Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience as a sales executive in the Financial Services industry inspiring solutions that exactly meet client needs.

  • Financial Services (Capital Markets, Banking, Insurance) industry services and/or product sales experience
  • Experience selling Advisory Services (Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Insurance), Analytics or Business Intelligence, Payments/Transaction systems, Policy Administration, Claims or Trading platform solutions
  • Exceptional sales and business performance – Consistently exceeding business performance goals while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Industry leading customer retention and demonstrated growth within an existing customer base
  • Executive relationships across financial services customers in the Boston and New York markets
  • Experience creating innovative, large scale solutions for financial services customers that map business architecture to solutions

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Proven application of a solution selling approach or methodology
  • Consultative Selling Experience – Proven success with enterprise customers, working knowledge of solution-selling strategies and tactics and business value selling
  • Microsoft Platform knowledge including .Net, SQL and SharePoint as well as mobile platforms including iOS, Android and Windows
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to drive a business
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities
  • Communication Excellence – strong listening, writing, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate with clients at all levels including CxO level relationships
  • Ability to inspire solutions that exactly meet customer needs
  • Sales Teamwork – demonstrated capability to drive a v-team. High degree of collaboration with multiple sales personnel including Microsoft and other partners will be required for success.
