Former Microsoft Technology leader to run world-class technology organization
Watertown, Mass. – April 17, 2012 – BlueMetal Architects, a leading technology architecture firm, announced today that Michael Valletta has joined the company as Consulting Director for BlueMetal’s New York office.
In this role, Mr. Valletta will manage BlueMetal’s New York presence as well as build deep customer relationships in the New York and Connecticut markets. BlueMetal Architects works with top-tier clients to imagine, define and build innovative technology solutions which positively impact how they run their business with a focus on user experience, big data, application modernization and social platforms.
Prior to joining BlueMetal, Michael spent 15 years working for Microsoft Corporation, where his most recent position was serving as the Sales Manager for Core Infrastructure including datacenter and cloud computing platforms for NY Metro.

Michael’s first role at Microsoft came in 1997 when he joined the National Technology Team in New York. One of his most notable contributions at Microsoft was Michael’s role in launching the New York Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) in 2001 as the MTC Technical Director. He was responsible for the technical and operational excellence in providing solutions, support and architectural direction for some of the top enterprise clients in the United States.
Valletta received his B.S. in Management Information Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute – The Lally School of Management and Technology.
